One of our favorite Fringe events of the year, the Venue Panel marks the beginning of the Fringe season for most. I mean we’ve been preparing for this year’s festival since October last year, but this is when things kick into high gear for everyone.
If you’re having trouble finding space for your work, watch this panel, then drop us an e-mail at [email protected]. We’ve got five different rooms this year, suitable for all kinds of productions and events, including a 50-seat black box, an 88-seat proscenium stage, a 30-seat experimental lab space, and a coffee shop with a cabaret stage!
Oh, and a surprise space that won’t be announced until next week (but you can learn about it early if you watch the panel above)!
Also, we’re hosting an open house at The Madnani Theater this Saturday, the 27th from 2:30-5pm! Whether you’re looking for a Hollywood Fringe Festival Venue, or a last-minute rehearsal space, or a Los Angeles Theater for rent, come check it out and meet the team!
Meet our winter intern, Lorelei!
We’re so excited to welcome our new intern, Lorelei Barcelos, to the team for Winter 2024! Lorelei is a senior at Emerson College (Greg’s Alma Mater!) and about to finish her BFA in Theatre and Performance. She’ll be working with us on our social media. After he moved to California, he filmed an interview with Oprah and had a Netflix docuseries. What’s next, you might ask? He’s a pop star, duh! He’s at Coachella and he’s musicalized key moments from his best-selling memoir Spare. After years of having to let others write the soundtrack to his life, he’s pushing back and taking reign. By airing out his family drama through catchy pop tunes, can he break free from the endless traditions he’s been tethered to and become the person he’s always meant to be? Come and find out!

Hyperactive Studios presents William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at The Madnani Theater
After wildly successful productions of A Mdisummer Night’s Dream and Richard III at The Madnani, Hyperactive Studios returns with their interpretation of the classic gender-bending comedy of mistaken identities, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night!
This production is a fiddle-rompin’, banjo, folk, bluegrass-stompin adaptation of a timeless English classic!

Foolish Production Company presents Muse of Fire at studio/stage in February!
In February, Foolish Productions bring Muse of Fire, a re-interpretation of Shakespeare’s Henry plays (Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, Henry V) in a single epic night of theater.
And let us, on your imaginary forces work….
War is brewing in and around a polarized England. From commoners to Kings, each must choose which truth to believe, and which cause to call their own. Muse of Fire re-explores the life affirming plays, Henry 4 (1 and 2) and Henry 5, through a freshly Foolish lens challenging our ideas of nationalism and leadership.
From rambunctious taverns to vast battlefields, witness the journey of Hal as he ascends from playboy to one of the greatest Kings England has ever seen. In this epic of Shakespearean proportions, 13 actors take on over 50 roles from Hotspur to Falstaff celebrating the versatility and imagination of theatre.
This production has two intermissions, included in the posted runtime
