What are you studying at Emerson?

Jess: I’m pursuing a BFA in Theatre & Performance.

Nicole: I am a Media Arts Production major, studying film production at Emerson.

What made you want to intern at The StageCrafts?

Jess: I wanted to intern at The StageCrafts because it aligns with my passion for performing arts. I was excited to gain hands-on experience in social media management for theater companies.

Nicole: I’m interested in both Social Media and theatre, besides having had similar experiences, I’m also keen on observing what Internet users/followers pay attention to and where the trends are heading.

What do you want to learn as part of your internship?

Jess: I want to learn how to effectively engage and grow an audience through social media and deepen my understanding of marketing strategies in the performing arts industry.

Nicole: Becoming more proficient in the use of different social media platforms, learning to communicate with colleagues at work, and also wanting to create a social connection through this experience.

What’s your favorite thing about LA so far?

Jess: I love the weather and the beach! I grew up in a city near the beach felt familiar and comforting.

Nicole: The weather here.
