The image depicts a confident woman standing outdoors in front of a brick wall painted with a faded, stylized American flag. She is wearing a yellow blazer over a white button-up shirt and blue jeans, with her hands in her pockets. The woman is looking directly at the camera, exuding a composed and strong demeanor. The backdrop suggests an urban setting with muted tones contrasting the bright yellow jacket.

What The Constitution Means to Me

Friday-Saturday @ 8pm | 100 minutes | General Admission $27.50
Continuing this Weekend!

“What does it mean if the Constitution offers no protection against the violence of men?”

Tony Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist, What the Constitution Means to Me is a personal and timely exploration of the U.S. Constitution. This October, Heidi Schreck’s groundbreaking play returns to Hollywood.

At 15, Heidi loved the US Constitution. Now, as an adult, she wonders what about this document made her such a fanatic. With bravery, heart, rage, and humor, Heidi illuminates the shadows of the Constitution to discover What the Constitution Means to her.

Starring Genny Wilson (The Young & The Restless, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) as Heidi in a deftly moving performance. As Heidi as she retraces her journey from high school to womanhood and uncovers how America’s founding document has shaped the lives of women.

In 2019, the LA Times said, “Every man, woman, and teenager in Los Angeles needs to see this play,” and the New York Times called it, “the best and most important new play of the season.” Don’t miss your chance to experience this one-of-a-kind show.

This is a limited engagement from October 3 to October 26. Get Tickets.

Director Margaret Starbuck on diving into the process –  “I’m thrilled to get to direct these two epic plays for the Porters. I love the way the Henry IVs dynamically intercut uproarious comedic scenes with Scandal-esque court intrigue and intense battle scenes. Their exploration of how power is gained, maintained, enforced and sacrificed for is a topic that is ripe for discussion in this election year.” Get Tickets.
