Hey friends!

Whew! What a month it’s been so far. Thanksgiving is next week, so things are starting to wind down a bit this month. Before we get into what’s coming up, let’s recap some exciting stuff from last week!

Last Week @

Last week was incredibly busy for us. Beyond a packed schedule between The Hobgoblin and The Madnani, The StageCrafts were proud to provide lighting and video services for The Disruptors fifth annual industry showcase!

"A dimly lit workspace with a person seated at a desk operating two laptops. The desk is cluttered with papers, cables, a wrapped dish, and two coffee cups. In the background, a large screen displays a presentation featuring a person's photo and name, with faint silhouettes of other people and equipment visible."

The team from The StageCrafts programming light and video cues for The Disruptors fifth annual industry TV Writer showcase.

This was a huge event, and a tremendous success for all involved. It was a pleasure working with the team from The Center for Cultural Power, and we look forward to collaborating with them on the showcase next year!

Beyond that, Jess, Nicole, and I got to have lunch with two incredible film artists on Friday; producer/actor/writer Jill Melinda Bennett and actor/producer/editor Lauren Esther Neal. Jill and Lauren have enjoyed recent festival success with their microbudget feature film Under the Influencer, and they generously took the time to have lunch with us and let Jess and Nicole pick their brains about breaking into the industry and launching careers. Big thanks to Lauren and Jill for their generosity with their time and knowledge! And if you get the chance, check out Under the Influencer at a festival near you.

Speaking of films, we recently registered an account on FilmFreeway.com in anticipation of some of our plans for 2025…

And speaking of festivals, FrostyFest is now seven shows strong! Check out the shows registered for this year’s FrostyFest online here!

Both Picasso, Beckett, Eno: Theatre of the Absurd and Angels In America, Parts I & II took their bows after successful runs. Congratulations to the teams involved!

By the way, if you haven’t already, consider giving us a like or a follow on our company Facebook, Instagram, and Threads accounts! We’d love to connect with you.

Henry IV Parts I & II by William Shakespeare

November 2nd-24th | The Madnani Theater | Tickets starting at $12.51
Two Weekends Left!

The Madnani is excited to host Henry IV Parts I and II, presented by The Porters of Hellsgate. This will be the Porter’s 33rd and 34th productions in their journey towards finishing Shakespeare’s canon.

Director Margaret Starbuck on diving into the process –  “I’m thrilled to get to direct these two epic plays for the Porters. I love the way the Henry IVs dynamically intercut uproarious comedic scenes with Scandal-esque court intrigue and intense battle scenes. Their exploration of how power is gained, maintained, enforced and sacrificed for is a topic that is ripe for discussion in this election year.” Get Tickets.
