FrostyFest is a holiday-themed winter theater festival in Hollywood that welcomes artists of all backgrounds and producing levels. Whether you are producing for the very first time or you’ve been producing small theater for years, you’ll find fun and welcoming opportunities at FrostyFest.

The festival is lightly curated: the only requirement is that the plays are seasonally appropriate.

Now, when we say “seasonally appropriate,” that is not a euphemism for “LA Christmas theater festival.” To the contrary, we want stories as diverse and numerous as the different ways humans celebrate the season! And there are a lot! Time Magazine has a list of eleven major religious and secular holidays that happen in December alone. All are welcome!

A deep dive into the traditions surrounding Makar Sankranti? Perfect!

A Hanukkah noir musical? Love it.

A New Year’s Eve door-slamming farce? Bring it on.

A Rocky musical for Boxing Day? … I mean, that’s how Boxing Day works, right?

Regardless, FrostyFest is a live theater holiday season celebration!

FrostyFest 2024 will take place at The Hobgoblin Playhouse from December 12th through December 22nd.

Festival registration opens September 3rd at FrostyFestLA.com. Book your venue tour now so you can be ready to go once registration official begins!

Tickets for all FrostyFest productions shall go on sale starting November 1st at our ticketing portal, events.thestagecrafts.com.

Afterwards, take a look at the festival’s official info sheet with details about production packages and pricing.

Once you’ve watched the informational video and reviewed the info sheet, go ahead and click the button above that says “Register Now” to go to the festival registration form.
