This image appears to depict a set design for a stage production. The backdrop is styled as a veterans' hall with the banner reading "American Legion Post 10, Wenatchee, Washington." Several framed photographs of military figures are arranged on the wall, and there are U.S. and Washington state flags on display. A wooden podium with the U.S. Legion emblem stands prominently in the foreground, with two empty chairs placed on either side, creating a formal, institutional atmosphere. The setup suggests that this scene could be part of a performance involving themes related to veterans, American history, or constitutional rights.

Welcome to October! For patrons, it’s time for Spooky Season! This month, we’ll be sharing more posts about superstitions and rituals in the theater, exploring why it’s considered bad luck to say “Macbeth” in a theater, and Greg has offered to share his show-tested no-stain fake blood recipe.

You can already check out our first Spooky Season Blog, a comparison of superstitions and traditions between American and Chinese performing artists, courtesy of our new interns, Jess & Nicole!

And for producers, it’s time to start the real work on your upcoming holiday production! If you’re looking for a venue, may we suggest The Madnani Theater? If you just need rehearsal space, we have plenty of rooms to choose from.

And if you just need an excuse to get up and do that buddy comedy set on Three Kings Day, that door-slamming farce set on Bodhi Day, or that production of Rocky: The Musical for Boxing Day (nope, not letting that joke die), then we’ve got an opportunity for you.

What The Constitution Means to Me

Thursday-Saturday @ 8pm | 100 minutes | General Admission $27.50
Opening Weekend!

“What does it mean if the Constitution offers no protection against the violence of men?”

Tony Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist, What the Constitution Means to Me is a personal and timely exploration of the U.S. Constitution. This October, Heidi Schreck’s groundbreaking play returns to Hollywood.

At 15, Heidi loved the US Constitution. Now, as an adult, she wonders what about this document made her such a fanatic. With bravery, heart, rage, and humor, Heidi illuminates the shadows of the Constitution to discover What the Constitution Means to her.

Starring Genny Wilson (The Young & The Restless, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) as Heidi in a deftly moving performance. As Heidi as she retraces her journey from high school to womanhood and uncovers how America’s founding document has shaped the lives of women.

In 2019, the LA Times said, “Every man, woman, and teenager in Los Angeles needs to see this play,” and the New York Times called it, “the best and most important new play of the season.” Don’t miss your chance to experience this one-of-a-kind show.

This is a limited engagement from October 3 to October 26. Get Tickets.

*This production contains mentions of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Their exploration of how power is gained, maintained, enforced and sacrificed for is a topic that is ripe for discussion in this election year.” Get Tickets.
